Can I travel from UK to Poland without a passport?

1 Answer. As a UK citizen, only a passport is sufficient as a travel document, as the UK does not have ID cards. If you are an EU national, you do not need to show your national ID card or passport when you are travelling from one border-free Schengen EU country to another.
