Elton John Adds Dates to Farewell Tour. Elton John wasn't kidding when he indicated that his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour would extend over three years. The celebration, which began September 8, 2018, now has dates through December 2020. On November 13, 2019, John added 24 North American dates for 2020.
